Ingredients :
- 1 recipe pastry for a nine inch double crust deep dish pie
- 3/4 cup white sugar
- three tablespoons cornstarch
- half of teaspoon ground cinnamon
- 6 cups thinly sliced apples
- half cup caramel ice cream topping
- 1/4 cup chopped pecans
- 1 (sixteen ounce) bundle frozen whipped topping, thawed
