Ingredients :
- 1 half of cups cider vinegar
- 1 cup chopped onion
- 1 huge Granny Smith apple - peeled, cored and chopped
- 1 cup golden raisins
- 3/four cup white sugar
- 1/four cup lemon juice
- 1 green chile peppers, seeded and minced
- 1 tablespoon minced sparkling ginger root
- 1 tablespoon lemon zest
- 1 teaspoon floor coriander seed
- 1/eight teaspoon floor cloves
- four Fuyu persimmons, peeled and chopped

- In a big saucepan combine the apple cider vinegar, chopped onion, chopped apple, golden raisins, sugar, lemon juice, chili, ginger, lemon peel, coriander and cloves. Bring to a boil over medium warmth, stirring every so often. Reduce warmness to medium-low and simmer till mixture thickens, stirring frequently, approximately 25 minutes. Add the persimmons and simmer until the persimmons are smooth approximately five to ten minutes.
- Remove from the heat and allow cool absolutely. Cover and refrigerate chutney. May be made an afternoon or in advance.
