"A delicious baked apple dumpling with a crispy crust and moist and juicy inner! Always a big hit for all events, and relatively clean to prepare."
Ingredients :
- 1 (17.5 ounce) package frozen puff pastry, thawed
- 1 cup white sugar
- three/eight cup dry bread crumbs
- three tablespoons ground cinnamon
- 1 pinch ground nutmeg
- 1 egg, beaten
- 4 Granny Smith apples - peeled, cored and halved
- 1 cup confectioners' sugar
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 tablespoons milk
