Ingredients :
- 1 cup white sugar
- half cup shortening
- 1 half cups applesauce
- 2 tablespoons molasses
- 2 cups all-purpose flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 teaspoon floor cinnamon
- 1 teaspoon floor cloves
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup raisins

- Preheat oven to 350 levels F (one hundred seventy five tiers C). Grease and flour tube pan.
- In a medium bowl, sift collectively the flour, baking soda, cinnamon, cloves and salt. Set aside.
- In a big bowl, cream the sugar and shortening until fluffy. Add applesauce and molasses and mix in.
