Christmas Wreaths

"I've been making these for years; recipe out of my non-public files, received from a friend. Easy to fix, attractive and suitable tasting."

Ingredients :

1 1/four cups butter
3/4 cup confectioners' sugar
2 half of cups all-purpose flour
3/four teaspoon peppermint extract
3 drops pink food coloring
3 drops green meals coloring

Instructions :

Prep :	Cook : 18M	Ready in :

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F (a hundred ninety levels C).
Cream together the butter or margarine, confectioner's sugar, flour and peppermint extract. Mix properly.
Separate dough into identical components, placed into separate bowls and tint with meals-coloring. Roll dough into SMALL balls, approximately 1/2 tsp according to cookie. Place six balls in a circle, alternating hues onto cookie sheet.
Bake for eight mins. NOTE: I bet you could leave out peppermint flavoring or alternative it, but we love peppermint, so I have not attempted versions or substitutions .
