Black Bean Soup I

"I live in which black beans are a favorite, and I wanted black bean soup with a unique taste. The results had been splendidly scrumptious. Serve with corn cakes. This recipe freezes well. Enjoy."

Ingredients :

2 cups dry black beans
1 ham bone
6 cups water
four cups bird broth
1 tablespoon salt
2 tablespoons vegetable oil
1/2 onion, chopped
1 tomato, diced
half of cup chopped ham
1 tablespoon distilled white vinegar

Instructions :

Prep : 10M	Cook : 6M	Ready in : 2H10M

Simmer beans, water, ham bone, broth, and salt for 1 half hours.
Discard ham bone. Puree approximately 1/2 of soup; pour returned into pot.
Saute onion, tomato, and meat in oil till onion is gentle. Stir in vinegar, and then upload combination to beans. Simmer for 20 minutes. Serve warm.
