- 2 kilos sweet potatoes
- half cup butter
- 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
- 1/2 cup brandy
- 1/2 teaspoon salt

- Peel and reduce the sweet potatoes into 2 inch chunks. Place them in a large pot of water and boil until tender.
- In a huge skillet melt the butter or margarine. Stir in the brown sugar, brandy and salt. Stir till easy. Add the candy potatoes. Cook over low warmth, stirring lightly, until candy potatoes are heated thru and nicely glazed.
