Apple Spice Cake |

Ingredients :
- 2 cups all-purpose flour

- 1 cup butter, softened
- 2 cups white sugar
- 4 eggs
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 1 tablespoon warm water
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 3 apples - peeled, cored and chopped
- half of cup raisins
- 1/four cup confectioners' sugar for dusting

- Preheat oven to 350 levels F (one hundred seventy five levels C). Butter a ten inch tube pan. Cover raisins with heat water, allow soak for 10 mins after which drain. Whisk together flour, spices, and salt. Set aside.
- Cream together butter or margarine and sugar. Mix in eggs and vanilla. Stir together soda and 1 tablespoon heat water, and blend into the sugar combination. Stir in flour combination, apples, and strained raisins until properly mixed. Pour batter into prepared pan.
- Bake for about 1 hour, or until a tester comes out easy. Cool in pan. Once cool, shake pan to loosen cake. Turn onto plate, and dust with confectioners' sugar.
