Slovak Stuffed Cabbage

"I received this recipe from my grandmother. It became exceeded down to her from her grandmother. This can be made ahead of time and frozen for some days prior to cooking. Enjoy!"

Ingredients :

1 pound ground pork
1 pound floor pork
1 onion, chopped
1 teaspoon salt
black pepper to taste
1 teaspoon chopped clean parsley
half cup cooked brown rice
1 1/four teaspoons garlic salt
2 (10.75 ounce) cans condensed tomato soup
27 oz. Sauerkraut, drained
1 (29 ounce) can diced tomatoes
1 medium head cabbage
5 slices bacon
2 tablespoons white sugar
three cups water

Instructions :
