| Bird's Nests II |
"Fun treats for Springtime. You can use vanilla flavored candy coating in preference to white chocolate, if you like."
Ingredients :
- 2 cups chow mein noodles
- 2 cups beaten cornflakes cereal
- 16 (1 ounce) squares white chocolate
- 1/3 cup chocolate protected raisins

- Place a sheet of waxed paper or foil on a huge cookie sheet. In a big bowl, integrate the noodles and the cereal and set apart.
- Melt white chocolate or vanilla sweet-coating in a double boiler over warm water (or inside the microwave). Remove from heat and pour over noodles and cereal.
- To shape nests, mound 2 tablespoons of the combination onto the organized cookie sheet. With the lower back of a teaspoon, make an indentation within the middle of each mound. Press three or 4 sweets inside the center of each "nest". Allow to set at room temperature until corporation.
