Blackberry Pie I |
"I've been the use of this recipe for years and have always succeeded with it! Frozen or sparkling blackberries may be used. Serve with vanilla ice cream."
Ingredients :
- 4 cups clean blackberries
- half cup white sugar
- 1/2 cup all-motive flour
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie
- 2 tablespoons milk
- 1/4 cup white sugar

- Preheat oven to 425 tiers F (220 tiers C).
- Combine three 1/2 cups berries with the sugar and flour. Spoon the combination into an unbaked pie shell. Spread the last half cup berries on top of the sweetened berries, and cover with the top crust. Seal and crimp the edges, and cut vents within the pinnacle crust for steam to break out.
