Ingredients :
- 1 cup dates, pitted and chopped
- 1 3/four cups drained stewed apricots
- half of cup white sugar
- 2 tablespoons apricot nectar
- three/four cup shortening, melted
- 1 cup packed brown sugar
- 2 cups all-reason flour
- 1 teaspoon baking soda
- 2 cups brief cooking oats
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
