Apple Pie II |

Ingredients :
- 1/2 cup apple juice
- 1 cup white sugar, divided
- half of cup butter
- 6 Golden Delicious apples - peeled, cored and sliced
- 2 tablespoons cornstarch
- 1 recipe pastry for a 9 inch double crust pie

- Combine the apple juice, 1/2 cup white sugar, and butter in a big saucepan. Cook over medium warmness, stirring every now and then, till sugar has melted. Add the apples and cook until fruit is soft, about 10 mins.
