"My stepmother were given this recipe from an eighty-year-antique lady lower back within the 1940's."
Ingredients :
- 1 egg
- 1/2 cup all-reason flour
- 1/2 cup milk
- 1 cup minced clams
- 1/four teaspoon salt
- 1/eight teaspoon floor black pepper
- 2 tablespoons minced onion
- 2 tablespoons minced green bell pepper (non-obligatory)
- half cup vegetable oil

- Beat the egg and gradually beat within the flour. Slowly stir inside the milk, clams, salt, pepper and onion. If preferred, stir inside the green pepper. With fingers form aggregate into 2 inch diameter patties.
- In a medium skillet warmth the oil over medium-excessive heat until warm. Fry the patties in the warm oil until golden brown. Place cooked fritters on paper towels to absorb any extra oil.
