Cherries and Chocolate Fudge

"Cherries and chocolate are an all time favored combination. This chocolate fudge has candied cherries and almonds all through, and is topped with extra cherries and pecans."

Ingredients :

1 (14 ounce) can sweetened condensed milk
1 (12 ounce) bundle semisweet chocolate chips
1/2 cup chopped almonds
half of cup chopped candied cherries
1 teaspoon almond extract
1/four cup pecan halves
1/four cup candied cherries, halved

Instructions :

Line an eight x eight inch rectangular pan with aluminum foil.
In a microwave-secure bowl integrate sweetened condensed milk and chocolate chips; microwave on high for 1 half of minutes, or till chocolate is melted. Stir until clean. Stir in chopped almonds, chopped cherries and almond extract. Pour into organized pan and spread calmly. Place pecan halves and cherry halves on top.
Cover and refrigerate for 2 hours, or until company. Cut into 1 inch squares. Store, protected, in fridge.
