"This became something I made one Sunday nighttime to use the leftover produce from the weekend. My husband appreciated it so much, I make it all the time now. Leftover French or Italian bread works terrific with the mushroom juices. This can be reduced to serve much less people. Also it's super to add in whatever sorts of more vegetables you have got in the residence."
Ingredients :
- 4 tablespoons butter
- 1 (sixteen ounce) bundle more-organization tofu, diced
- 1 massive onion, diced
- 2 tablespoons Chinese five-spice powder
- 1 1/2 kilos mushrooms
- four slices bread, torn into chew size portions
- 6 oz shredded Cheddar cheese

- In a deep frying pan over high heat, saute butter, tofu, onion and Chinese 5- spice seasoning until onions start to appear translucent.
- Stir mushrooms into the frying pan, and reduce heat to medium-high. Let prepare dinner for 15 mins; you will notice the mushrooms releasing their juices. Stir continuously, in order that not anything receives burned onto the lowest of the pan.
- Place torn bread within the backside of each serving dish. Sprinkle shredded cheese over top of the bread. With a ladle, scoop out mushroom-combination (along with the mushroom broth) and ladle it over the bread and cheese. Serve right away.
