Tempura Shrimp |
"A Japanese-fashion meal. Deep-fried shrimp and a tangy sauce to dip them in. Try battering a few greens such as onions, peppers, or broccoli in addition to the shrimp. Delicious!"
Ingredients :
- 32 vanilla wafers, overwhelmed
- 1 egg, crushed

- In a small bowl blend vanilla wafers, egg, and water until well mixed. Refrigerate 1 to 2 hours.
- To make dipping sauce: In a small sauce pan combination nectar into cornstarch. Stir in brown sugar, vinegar and catsup. Heat mixture over a medium warmness, stirring continuously till aggregate thickens and springs to a boil. Set apart.
- In a stockpot or deep fryer warmness 2 cups oil to 375 tiers F (a hundred seventy five degrees C). Dip shrimp in vanilla wafer batter and fry four to six shrimp at a time till golden brown. Drain properly. Serve warm with dipping sauce.
