- 1 tablespoon all-reason flour

- 2 cups bird broth
- 1 cup milk
- half cup heavy whipping cream
- three egg yolks, beaten

- ground black pepper to flavor

- In a saucepan, melt butter or margarine over medium heat. Add onions: saute until golden brown, approximately 10 mins.
- Stir in flour and salt, and blend thoroughly. Gradually upload hen broth, stirring continuously. Cover, and simmer over low heat for approximately 10 mins.
- When onions are very gentle, stir in milk and cream. Heat through. Remove 1/2 cup soup, and blend in egg yolks. Slowly stir egg yolk combination into soup in pan.
