- 2/3 cup white sugar

- 3 cups fresh strawberries

- To Make Glaze: Blend the sugar, cornstarch, and salt; stir into apple juice. Cook over a medium heat, stirring constantly till smooth and thick. Allow to cool for 10 minutes.
- Spread a small amount of the glaze over the bottoms of the shells. Arrange washed and hulled clean berries over the glaze, reducing if necessary to in shape into the brownies. Spoon last glaze cautiously over the berries, protecting them properly. Chill for two to four hours. Serve garnished with whipped cream if preferred.
