"This is my grandma's (Sophie) kolacky recipe, and it likely got here from her grandmother in Poland. My family cannot get enough of those at Christmas."

Ingredients :

  • 6 oz cream cheese, softened
  • 1 cup butter
  • 2 cups all-reason flour
  • 2 tablespoons white sugar
  • 1/8 teaspoon salt
  • 2 teaspoons baking powder
  • 1 (21 ounce) can apple pie filling
  • 2 tablespoons confectioners' sugar

  • Preheat oven to 350 levels F (a hundred seventy five levels C). Lightly grease cookie sheets.
  • Using a pastry blender or food processor, cut butter into cream cheese.
