Ingredients :
- 1 (nine inch) pie shell
- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 cup white sugar
- 2 eggs
- 2 cups applesauce
- 1/four teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1/four teaspoon ground cinnamon

- Preheat oven to 425 degrees F (220 degrees C).
- In a medium blending bowl integrate butter or margarine, sugar, and eggs. Beat until easy. Add applesauce and vanilla. Mix very well.
- Pour custard mixture into pie shell. Sprinkle top lightly with cinnamon.
- Bake in preheated oven for 30 to 40 minutes or till set in middle.
