"This is a recipe I actually have had due to the fact 1954. I use a cream cheese frosting."
Ingredients :
- 1 three/four cups cake flour
- 1 half of cups white sugar
- 3/four teaspoon salt
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- three/4 teaspoon baking soda
- half cup shortening
- 3 (1 ounce) squares unsweetened chocolate, melted
- 1 cup buttermilk
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 eggs
- 1 cup shredded coconut
